Have you tried 'Skin-So-Soft' from Avon as a mosquito repellant? I have, and it works! And my skin is so soft, ladies come up to me in the Supermarket just to touch me...

I think you need a bee keepers outfit. Poor Archie has been bitten by midges so often that he sprinkles disinfectant over himself, I would not advise that though. Now what squashed the hornet?

Nice to have nature when it is benign, but angry wasps? No thank you.
I love the image of hummingbirds helping themselves to lilac nectar. We need to keep encouraging all the pollinators, the bees & butterflies, etc., so you deserve our thanks for keeping them supplied with pollen and nectar.

Good for Wiley and Mr. G. The insects have been all over it seems. The other day I saw the biggest mosquito I have ever seen in my life! He almost made it indoors! Take care of those bites. We have had a touch of West Nile around these parts...
