re the painting in my blog...she did a series of coal miners cottages and old sheds and these were old boat sheds. All were being pulled down so she painted like crazy to preserve some history.

I think I read in this painting a certain feeling that all is too controlled. Mind I am only a gnome psychiatrist. Probably one has to be adaptable in most circumstances once the sheen has worn off the time for wondering begins.

I have known of a few couples, both of whom were nice, where even though they were nice individually, they were not meant for one another.

Very interesting painting.
Son #1 is that kind of observant fellow. I never thought in the past how he might have been with Patti, but he is that way with his mother.
