Lovely poem CCT, chasing the ladies already at three...  We have had a similar deluge of daffodil bulbs in the last two years (I won't say how many but I helped plant an awful lot of them)

Thanks FS . Really don't want to break anything if one can help it.

I like the perspective coming from a little kid. That adds a lot to the poem...Hip injuries are quite the battle.

Re: Wow, that means lots of flowers

Yes it was a true memory Kasper. I'll get rid of them somehow even if I have to give them all away, put it down to carelessness.

Re:

It is a nuisance really Kabu, but perhaps they did not charge for them(some hopes ) Well the oldies will be happy to get double whack I suppose. Get something with a long handle

-it is easier on the back. I just look outside a 7/30 am Archie is unloading bags of turf for a raised garden. 'Go back indoors 'he shouted , 'you have not got a coat on. '  Alright Grampy I said with a smile,

Re: They're doing a lot with hip replacements these days.

Well I hope the old chap makes it Pat. Archie grumbles about him enough, but as I told him his life would be a misery if they lost him. Archie's wife would drive him bonkers.

You've written a beautful poem of a lovely time. I imagine it is true? So now you have a ton of plants to plant. Or donate? And, the FIL, such a cost but he may get well. That hurst my heart to read about him.

They're doing a lot with hip replacements these days.

Sandy from the writing group got a new hip last week on Wednesday, and was home from the hospital the next day. She emailed me that she got the writing prompt I sent her, so she's able to do some things. Girl named Bobbie had been in misery for several months, got a new hip at age 86 & was supposed to be in rehab 6 weeks. She was back at the bingo table in two weeks, now walks without even a cane. I hope your dear one has good luck, too.

that is a huge number of plants. Wow. I won't be gardening like that here. Still to early to plant anyway but Tulips and daffys are coming up everywhere. I am slowly very slowly cleaning away the dead from last year.

Wow, that means lots of flowers

First I want to say that I liked your poem. A memoir I guess.

And about the flowers, it sounds like... wow, prettymany. Have any plans about them?
