I always wonder how they make it through the winter if they don't

hibernate. Then I remember how they gather and store all the time, and no doubt they're smart enough to have a storeroom built in some handy location. Cute little guy.

Wonderful it is to see the signs of spring. We have had a few so far. I look forward to their regularity.

Don't forget one should split the perennials up after three years. You will get more and better plants, but perhaps it might be to arduous for you. Better to give a strong man a few dollars to do the deed. I would love to tramp around your garden and do it for you.

Wonderful entry
Well, kabu, you did it again. :-)
Except from the snow it sounds like a wonderful day. Especially, I was kind of fascinated by the squirrel thing. Always nice to meet friends again. :-)

Just look at this gorgous little critter.  So beautiful to see, and so happy you've been able to go on a walkabout through your garden.  It's cold here today, too.  I hope you and Poppy enjoy your apple berry pie.  You know I love you both forever.
