yes I heard stories from my Mother and have read so much, mostly the first war from the Australian perspective of course.

Yes the lads were so eager to join up, it didn't take long to be disillusioned Kabu. I still even think sometimes of the first war. The sad little stories that my Mother told me.

Well I knew this would not be popular, in restrospect governments should have warned girls not to break off relationships by writing letters. It was bad enough being away from home and being frightened half the time. No it didn't happen to me it is what men have told me.
