Re: WileyJohn
What a complex job that must have been, so intricate with all those parts. Thank you.

Poetry Gypsy
I used to repair looms and things, your poem is as lovely as the myriad cloth patterns I would see on those machines weaving or rewinding material.

Re: Excellent writing, jogs a memory...
What a great story and what a sight for a child to see! Thank you for sharing. Your hometown must have, indeed, been a good people place, for I know that in most places those folk aren't welcome. LOL! And, I can believe that they would have refused money for prayers; ethically it is appalling, and who would take money for a gift given freely? In my case, they Gypsy link is quite far back, living in stories told to my mother... Thank you so much!

Excellent writing, jogs a memory...
As a child, I remember visiting a relative in the hospital and seeing a group of gypsy-like folk who were offering to pray for the sick in a large waiting area. Their clothing was bright and exotic and I recall shiny bracelets and rings. Later I was told some people tried to give them money for prayers, believing they had special powers, for lack of a better word. But they refused because they said they wanted to repay the community for being kind to them, something they weren't accustomed to. (of course that wasn't a universal thing but I guess for the most part my hometown was a good people place)

Re: Krisles
Ahh, Krisles, bring on Benise, with his guitar, and I will be one happy - I would say camper, but let's be honest - one happy lady! LOL! Do be well; this is for all who are ill, you, and anyone, everyone! Thank you so much for your kind words. They mean so much to me right now. I have doubts at times that I should even be on such a site as this. Play music you love; studies have shown it can help to heal.

I feel certain you wrote this for me! I felt it....thank you! Someone said that is your talent, speaking in a way that is felt so personally....I agaree. This was magical and I love it. However, I hear an accoustic guitar in accompaniment. I love both keys and strings....but, a single plucked string is like a tuning fork for my heart.

Re: C_C_T
Thank you, CC! Maybe that's because I am a teller of stories at heart! As to the pix! Hah hah ha! A nerdy little kid at a huge piano! There's the visual for ya! I would have to upgrade the membership to get photos in, but I may try it anyway! LOL!

Charming RP. What I like about your poetry is that you speak to the individual. One can believe that you are sincere. Oh! do show the photos of the piano chick.

Re: Nautikos
Did you know I was trained as a child (in the Dark Ages) in classical piano? There are pix of me at formal recitals. And, no, I no longer play. Would have to start with the scales! LOL! Now I will have to listen to Debussy... Hah!

I can hear this being recited against the background of a piano piece by Debussy...
