I agree wholeheartedly, and I will be discussing my agreement more in-depth in tomorrow's entry.
As far as money goes, I do not feel that lots of it will make a person happy, but a lack of it can lead to stress that reduces or eliminates one's happiness.

FSI, I wasn't referring to profit in terms of how much money you make as I totally agree that money is not a sole indicator (or even any indicator) of happiness. I was referring to profit in terms of solvency which is the goal of most businesses, I think? The solvency means security for the owner and any employees dependent on it....so profit is a good thing. Personally, I find a feeling of security seems to be one of the requirements most folks have in order to feel contentment. How far a person takes it after that is a matter of how hard they are willing to work for the goals they set.
And, I have a love-hate relationship with just about ALL technology these days!

I believe everyone has some sort of technology they have a love-hate relationship with. Mine is the Car Wash Club technology.
On the money front, money is not the sole indicator of happiness.
I am going to explore this more in tomorrow's entry.
