Good thinking Naut, I keep thinking everyone must call things the same. Of course once we just walked up the road with no side walks at all. We are reasonably lucky our tortured Lime trees still survive surrounded by tarmac.

Interesting! I might just mention for our North Americans that none of this is actually taking place on what we call the pavement, rather unsafe under the best of circumstances, but on what we call the sidewalk...

This is a winner, you opened up such images for me. Loved the concept of the cardboard cut out with one arm raised....the terror of the thought of rejection, the wanting to run the realization that the love was strong, worth risking rejection. a keeper.
