Yes it was nearly true Ciel the cat was nervous and wet the box until it was soggy.
No did not see that show, but quite amusing perhaps he would have been better to have said it gave two strokes and then sank.We are a bit crueller here.

Reminds me of a bit from a show of a few years ago, called FISH that starred Abe Vigoda, spun off from BARNEY MILLER which might have crossed the Great Water to you.
New York kid has captured a creature in a box... we never see it, and no one can identify it. So, he is persuaded to release it at the local park by the pond, and when he comes back with the empty box, someone asks, "Well, did it swim away?" Kid considers for a moment, then says, "Yeah... couple of strokes, just before it flew away."
At least, that's how I remember it.

OH! dear Naut I can't use that colour as I have disposed of my Geiger counter . I suppose you don't know any Eskimos a section of seal skin would look perfect . I suppose seals are mainly black?

Priceless! But only one ear? Shouldn't be a problem - I would cut one out of that cardboard box, paint it to match and glue it on! You may have to redo the procedure occasionally, but that gives you the chance to use different colours for a bit of variety - radioactive tangerine, for example...
