I think I shall have you give you a cooking lesson Kabu. Bramley apples are the kiddies they go to golden pulp. Granny Smith well I never bother to pick those. I could give you a bag of frozen raspberries. Of course we have plenty of cream from the pigeon's milk. If you want the recipe get some pigeons first.

I think wild berry jam would be a wonderful addition to a pie recipe,
both taste-wise and as a surprise to the eye. YUM!

p.s. - someone told me about a Mountain Dew Apple pie or dumpling recipe
last night; said it was the "best apple pie they had ever tasted" and they're not big fans of Mountain Dew soda. But it turns into a syrup when poured over the apples and baked that goes fantastically well well with the apple flavor. I'm going to try it soon!
