Right now, we are in the midst of a flurry. Thankfully, nothing more.
Public schools start back up in late August. That can be tough because of the August heat, and many schools still lack air conditioning. It is not uncommon for school to be cancelled, delayed or dismissed early during summer.

Well take it easy, when you get to my age it will be time to start rushing around. I have just inserted a few more fairy lights in my mind.

The grandchildren are the bright light for a dreary day, a blessing.

As long as we have grandchildren, we have something to write about.

You have mail...though given your day, you may not want to bother with it. Love you.

Isn't it about time for you to think about gnome painting,
getting the rascals ready for their spring and summer guard posts in the garden? We've got robins here - but I don't think they're returning from their winter in the south - I think they've mistaken this little "banana belt" for the south and just wintered over.
