You are still a giving person that is easy to see.

What a sweet child you were... probably occasionally not, too.
But I love that at 3, you wanted so much to give her a gift!

Well my siblins and i always give birthday present's, when he was about 11 the artful one gave my sister who was two years longer a big parcel wrapped in newspaper. She slowly unwrapped it and found an enormous bone. We still remind him of it.

Good birthday to your sister
A refreshing picture and story. Parents are like that as I found myself getting gifts for my other two grandchildren when it was the third ones b'day until my daughter said "dad stop doing that". And I stopped.

I hope my grandcandies grow to be close to each other as I just think sisters are the neatest thing....and I hope, even though there is a big age difference, my daughter can forge a sisterly bond with her newly discovered half-sister. The world is getting to be a meaner place, we need to hold family closer again. I've known both kinds of sisters...the ones who are close, and the ones who are distant - but there is always a bond. You are blessed.

Funny how things work between sisters. My little sis was always
just a bit smarter than me, and knew exactly how to push my buttons. Sometimes I wish we lived much closer to one another. Hope your sis enjoys the chocolates.

Children have a hard time understanding, 'It's the thought that counts'. Adults too, sometimes...
