How many would you like Madam 80p to £1 here. Mind we have had one of the mildest winters so far and they are UK grown. Cauliflowers are not happy in frost as you know.
The trouble with getting older is, no can't tell you I am rolling on the floor laughing.

People's incomes not meeting rising costs has become a major issue. It is one reason why Bernie Sanders polls as well as he does.
I remember reading in a wash trade magazine about how it was written that one would think that when gas prices fall, chemical costs would go down. However, they do not.

Agreed! And has anyone checked the prices on organic veggies, grass-fed beef, or "natural" chicken?"

This is a good post. George and I know how that is going. I watch the market falling like a rock tossed at a rabbit. No body has money to invest into small businesses. Our government has plased so many regulations on everything we can not make money in our small businesses anymore, so no local jobs.Children have been arrested for selling lemonade in their yards this is a situation brought on by liverals who choose who has what, how much and from whom. At least that is the US.

Yeah, cauliflower is pretty expensive, but spinach is better for you anyway! Or do you still don't like it?

I'm not old, but I understand how you feel more than you might think I'm capable of. Be blessed.

Now I'm curious what a head of cauliflower is gonna cost me here when I go to the store. I know I have a bag of frozen in the freezer, but the fresh is so much better.

I, too, would like to know why a head of cauliflower is so pricey.
It was $5 a head here this week, and tho' I know it's really healthy, I had to pass it up. It was half that a couple months ago. I think the frozen is still about the same price as broccoli - so if I have to have some, I guess I'll go that route.
