True enough .. people can only do what they can do, and that includes all of us. The down side is that if we're on the mild side, expecting people to be like 'us' leaves us vulnerabe to the naughtier ones.

A time comes, though, when the retired hero must speak up again, to encourage and inspire, and all of us who have lived a while and maintained or achieved integrity, we are the heroes who are needed to shine a light on what's real and important. Even if it is a small thing like blogging where it can be seen.

Sadly once we realize this, most of us disappear into small lives because to keep fighting loudly is not going to work, only harm ourselves.
