makes sense to me. the body gets old and tired, maybe the brain gets destroyed but we live.

Their spirit goes to heaven if they are ready for that. It goes to Hell if they are not. The bodies will be resurrected later and changed into immortal bodies. Why am I so sure because the Bible says so and every word of it is true. Spirit is always alive, you are right about that. Reincarnation is a myth I once believed.
