I read the first installment.  As the political situation changes and we seem to be taking steps backward especially in regards to women's rights.

My friend, I am not on Blogit to have an opinion on Party Politics in the States. I try very hard not to be offensive of someone's views. or to be judgmental. ( I ain't exactly perfect meself)

It was just a friendly advice thingy, as you say you don't watch or read things that you know will upset you a lot....

and as an Australian back then I think we Aussies thought Ford was a good bloke.

Re:

I am, quite unabashedly, a political conservative. I am a county director of the Ted Cruz campaign in Michigan so I am fairly well connected politically. As a teenager, I worked for then Congressman Jerry Ford (1969) as his home office was about 12 miles from me. Congressman Ford was a nice man and despite the fact he was portrayed by the press as a bumbling idiot, he was highly intelligent. He willingly spent time talking with his volunteer help and he taught me many things. I met him once about three months before he became the Vice President and one last time about a year after he was out of office as President (1978). He knew me by name after all he had been through.

I understand your comment about keeping it semi balanced simply because I won't watch movies, television shows, or comedy shows starring actors that actively mean mouth and belittle people with my point of view. My style is to write a story anyone can read and not be angry about my style. You may not agree with my story line but I will not attack one view point without a specific reason.

As I said, "Tinfoil Hats" came off well because it was based on political info I was getting from someone inside. If you were to read it, knowing it was being written on a daily basis and released shortly after the 2012 elections, you would have thought I was in the room when this stuff happened. What I wrote has been proven to be right as things have been revealed. There was no 'internet video' and the key players watched the Benghazi attack live from a drone video. They removed a major general and an admiral that tried to intervene while the attack was ongoing. I had the names of the general and the admiral given to me within hours of their dismissal. Most people did not know about that for months afterward.

This story will be as fair as I can possibly make it.

perhaps walking that very thin tight rope between favoring one party thinking over the other, might give your a broader readership base. Tough to do when Politics in America is so polarized.
