I suppose some folk have experiences but think they will not be believed or even forget them. Personally I can't see praying in a convent or whatever all one's life is very helpful to anyone.

you have set eveyone thinking with this ...well done. I never saw myself as getting Nun...I mean being a Nun....but then God loves a sinner.

A poem that many who have wondered if they are being called by God to serve can relate to, I feel. I know of a few who thought about joining the priesthood or becoming a nun, but they decided against it due to one reason for the other.

I think so, C C T; priests...

I know I felt closer than I ever had before to a Higher Power when I was dying last year. It left me with knowing for myself these things were right: relax the narrowness of religion and power angst and greatly expand love and forgiveness. I think you experienced a connection and it lingers, as should be so; but that is just my view...Well done!

I thought of becoming a nun once upon a time. I couldn't find an order that I liked.
