I thought I was aging fast but not nearly as fast as technology. Oh It is strange how much life has change just in my lifetiem. Good post.

Great question, Wiley. The chip technology is not the same as tap and go technology. The chip technology utilizes a microchip to store one's card's information.

Europe has had it for awhile. What makes Europe different than what the United States is currently doing is that Europe requires pin numbers for transactions while the United States is not. At least not yet, anyway.

I was just notified that I would be getting a new chip card....whether I like it or not.

I haven't used 'chip' technology but I think it just means being able to 'tap' a credit or debit card right?
