I remember the good times in his life and so sad about his illness. We never know what is in store for us; we just have to keep moving and try to never give up on God, ourselves and others.

The same as poor old Joe in poetry has and his parents whom he looked after. I suppose it is marginally better than Alzheimers disease. Though probably not for the victim

I loved "Back to The Future" when it came out, especially loved
the old scientist - I've always enjoyed his performances - wasn't he in "Taxi"? Played the part of Jim. Or maybe memory doesn't serve... Mr. Fox is such a likeable guy, and he's put a lot of money and support into Parkinson's research - so he's a fighter on several levels, not just waiting for whatever fate has in store. Ya gotta admire a man with character like that.

I myself have never seen any of the Back to the Future movies. Certainly, things have changed a lot, but a lot has also remained the same. I feel sorry for Michael J. Fox, too, having to battle such a horrible disease.

Good post. Loved the movies. Feel the same as you about Michael J. Fox, and especially about Parkinson's disease.

I adore Michael J. Fox. I too, am sad that he must fight this wretched illness. He's gotten much worse over the last few years. The disease is far more visible in him now. But, there is always hope that a cure will be found.

Yep, Parkinson's is a bad scene! I'm fairly familiar with it - someone dear to me has it...
