I think the gnomes - way deep down - appreciate your TLC,
but they won't give up their macho right to grouse and grumble. Is it just me or has this year 2015 shown us a very short summer?

Yes I bet you had to get your gander up before they conformed. Dragging their feet along the ground or beards if they haven't shaved lately. they are bound to stamp in frustration for a month or so, but a good frost or two will cool them down. We do recycle Gnomes in a dark place near here, but I never like buying plastic bags from that enterprise.
