Once in a great while, I see one of those older cars on the road. They are neat to see...I still have my first car and reguarily drive it.

Cold weather
to me is fun.I love snow and ice . The exhilarating chill of a cold day, doing the same chores as summer, cause after all, the critters have to eat too, and they depend on you. But since we only get a couple of months of it, I guess I'm spoiled. If you told me winter would last 4 months where I live, I'd move !!

I love that car you picture here. The very worst part of winter for me is cleaning snow and ice off of the car before being able to drive it. Such a ridiculous waste of time and energy for a short trip to the store or something....no garage.

I certainly agree about the garage, especially when one has to go out every morning.

That is what I am hoping for that I will roll over into a vintage lady.

Very thought provoking, Dear Kabu!
I like old Volkswagon Beetles...:) Kudos to you guys for keeping your footprint small; hope the pretty little lady-car fixes back up quick and easy. And inexpensively, lol.

Just the same here Kabu the garages are filled with oddments and the car sits out in the rain and frost. I keep mine under an open-sided shelter with a roof as damp garages can be more harmful then cold dry air. Yes we could all be rich if we had known what to keep and what to through away. Your car ought to be behaving better than this, just the luck of the draw I suppose.

Interesting point - about the vintage cars suddenly being valuable.
I noticed this one fancy little 1920-something Ford pickup truck parked at the Episcopal church a couple Sundays ago - painted that deep forest green that Ford came up with. I also like seeing '57 Chevvies or any 50's Thunderbird or Ford Mustang. I'd much rather think of these shiny baubles than the idea of scraping ice and snow.
