I'm that way with French fries, Hamburgers and hotdogs. Made so many of them they are off my list! But I do like a good lasagna!

That sounds so wonderful. I remember a lot of days of that sort in church. I am too old now.

I guess you've had enough of the luscious lasagne to last awhile.
I never did all the sauce prep, so it didn't seem like such a big project to me. Bottle of Ragu sauce, crumbled hamburger with onions & spices, layer a few noodles with cheese and bake. I didn't always boil the pasta first, after I realized it would cook and absorb some of the sauce during the baking process. Lazy me. The kids liked it.

It sounds like those were yummy good times. There are some foods I have not had in awhile since my school days ended.

OMG! What a wonderful post....what a slew of memories came crashing down on me as I sit out here in the dark, on my patio.....swatting bugs who insist on trying to read my screen.....or are they trying make love to it? Any way, lasagne....I love it, and make it all kinds of ways.....with all kinds of ingredients....and have all kinds of pans for it. And, bless you and your friends for donating your day for the church folks - of course, (or coarse, if you are from Vermont!) they loved it, everyone loves lasagne....it has probably brought more folks to the LIGHT than any other food! Cheese covering some other form of carb, fat and usually some form of protein....garlic, onions and who knows what other spices might be added.....I mean, HEAVEN.......cheese, cheese, cheese....pasta, meat, cheese, tangy sun ripened tomatoes sacrificed for their sauce all cooked under heat in the oven until the flavors are harmonized into a song of such perfection your mouth will helplessly orgasm, tastebuds collapsing and saliva bursting forth until you almost drown in the love juices born from the perfection of this Italian tradition - and finally, you understand....the unspoken passion that burns in the Latin heart......melted, oozing, hot, melted, greasy and smelling like every great taste that ever hit your tongue, you collapse and let your tongue be cooled with a stream of wine, dribbling down your chin.....staining your perfection....but you just don't care. That, my friend....is lasagne.
I think I'll go make a big pan right now......yeah! I'm gonna have me some LASAGNE!!!

Like you, I am a fan of cooking shows! We have a channel that has nothing but...As to lasagna, I like it when it's really good, but I've had some awful experiences with it. And although I like to cook, I have never made it - far too fiddly for me, LOL...
