The last big of traffic congestion for awhile in my area will be next weekend. People are going for that one last summer trip. Then it will pick up again around Thanksgiving, which I believe is the heaviest traveled week in America each year. I used to think it was Christmas.

I made a quick jaunt to Michael's - the craft & hobby shop - for a few
more balls of yarn. It seems I'm still addicted to crochet. I thought I could quit, but as my last bit of yarn got close to the end, I couldn't resist the urge to head for the shop.
I know it's amazing to have your experience of the world so changed from the way it was when you grew up - I'm thinking this is why your fanciful stories seem so very possible, the way the characters interact, etc...

Our day started out beautiful, but then the clouds came up again and dumped a horrendous amount of water on our football game that was going on. We won without really playing all of the game.

What fun, Dear Kabu! I see what Wiley found, how about you?...:)
I do most of my shopping online cause it's easier on the lungs, but I used to love hitting the mall and sniffing out the bargains. I've been really lucky on buying shoes on ebay; tried it once and it was a huge success - the sandals were just as described and photo-ed, nearly new and fit perfectly. So I bought a pair of nice leather flats and was very pleased too. Anyway, I can imagine you o feel topsy turvy sometimes, lol. I;, sure I would too if I moved to Australia, lol.
