Love that apple tree, out of the four apple trees that one you wrote about so beautifully is the best blooming for the wildlife.Lovely blog of our wild place darlin'.

How true about the things you wrote about. Just reading it makes me feel good. Instead of music right now, I have my window wide open and listening to the cicadas... what is it they do?....Oh yes, this is it--"A cicada's timbal clicks as it buckles inward and again as it relaxes. Ten of these vibrations produces a full cycle, and it takes 50 cycles to generate one second of sound."

Thanks for cheering me up. You are a month in front of us season wise, so we just think of old age happening to other people. I think I'll go and make a cup of tea,as it has rained a little and the later raspberries are coming into fruit. I know that does not make sense. I could just feel sleepy so I will shut up.

Love those wild fruits too! Glad they still return every year!
I often feel the same as you, Dear Kabu about the world and it's changeling, unfamiliar face, but I also wonder if perhaps it's only that my awareness has honed my sensitivities. Ah well, let 'er quicken, lol, I'm going to sip my coffee as I read and relish dear friends...:)
Thought provoking post!

I am really amazed at the rate of change. I wonder if the pace will continue or if things will slow down. My guess is that the rate of change slows down. For example, what else can we do with cellphones?

You're right. The music has changed. It's robotic and frantic for the most
part, and the so-called love songs seem to be about hookups rather than getting to know one another. I don't think they can beat the Beach Boys or the really old Hoagy Carmichael or the ballads and dance tunes that came out around the time of WWII. I have to admit it could be that my hearing has faded, but I'll take the old jazz if I have a choice. Nice to know the critters are enjoying the harvest.

Sounds like you have a natural resource for fruit right in your yard. I like the picture.
