Kabu

I watched a 500 acre fire being fought yesterday......all from a dump truck tht was parked by the side of the road....never heard exactly what abut the truck?!  We sure could have used some of that rain.  I was at a garden center, buying pots and plants to make the patio here more to my liking...it's a gift to myself...sure wish you and Wiley were here to help  me get all the planting done!

Yes, everything is much more complicated now...nothing is simple...and I have a feeling that things are only going to get worse as the overload on, and dependence on, technology grows....with 'crashes' and 'jams' of all sorts becoming more and more common.  Just as bread lines and gas lines have been common in some places in the past, I think we are all going to have to get used to waiting and being inconvenienced by technology problems and related errors/problems.  Just my view of the future.

Yes I would welcome a little thunderstorm, just a baby one, not your old grumpy wetties.

We have a cold winter forecast, but that is the same most years. Be careful under trees if a storm is around.

I guess you got all the nasty stuff that was destined for us, but then they changed their minds...And there sure is a lot of junk up there...

We had a few drips yesterday. I thought I heard some thunder. No downpour or lightning materialized, though.

We've had thunderstorms here, lightning hit an apartment building

and started a fire. Is it just me, or has Mother Nature turned mean? Thinking of all the fires in the west, etc.

I love the way the rain stopped for you. Yes getting on toward 80 leaves a lot of words missed out in telephone conversations. Have a wonderful day both of you.
