Well I must admit I like simple food such as freshly picked raspberries and real cream. I like to make my own cakes and then they can be thrown away as they are not very appetizing. I am in a mad bad mood my computer has just lost an hours work. I shall have to get Arthur to build a new one,

I'd like some of those sweets now and again and you do make the lovely Lamingtons lover.

At least a cake you don't cut is calorie free...
It sounds like a wonderful custom - afternoon tea with friends. What a joy to think about!

It all sounds delicious - but in this heat I stick to my gin-and-tonic diet...

I am back now. I just fainted and fell over from reading of such rich deliciousness my mind would not absorb it without a taste. Loll. Beautiful post.

I'm not much on eating beautiful sweet things, but I do love Greek/Mediterranean foods. Have a really decent Greek restaurant here and it is always so good.
