I got it
I went through a time in my studies I had to explore the serial killers. I did not enjoy the project, but what I left with was an understanding that pain produces pain. To judge them is to be like them. Yes they turned out evil, angry, confused and lost. They took many with them, but to judge the person is in error. To acknowledge the acts of evil and rebuke them is to begin to understand what made them.
God will judge the person.

Actually darling I believe I did understand you. Loving humnakind, loving one's enemies doesn't mean liking them or approving or condoning what they are doing. Do I agree with hate and torture, murder either mass or of the individual. Do I believe in the agony that is inflicted on nations and families when they see their loved ones burned alive, tortured , beheaded, shot to pieces? No of course not and neither do you. We hate the act, the brutality....but we try and we pray hard to be able to love the person. I admit that I am failing miserably.
