Goodness I do wish I could find. 'Hot dames on cold slabs.' Although maybe it would not be so exciting today. I won't qualify a reason. I will look out for that book though, well I naturally cannot be bothered but I'll ask my sister she is always poking into dark corners in Charity shops.

I have a lot of books as well. My favorite author is Linwood Barclay. I am impressed how he ties everything together masterfully in his thrillers. I also like James Patterson, but I feel that his mass publishing (he does about a dozen or so books each year) has hurt the quality of his work.

Good reads I'm sure. I also, kinda liked doing research for writing.

a friend of mine loved that series too, she is gone now and it makes me wonder what happened to her books.  i have a love of books and sometime i read many times the ones i like best.  i always find something i forgot or missed on a previous read.

I was amazed by Jean Auel's "Clan of the Cave Bear" and have

seen copies of her books go through the used bookshop at the library... Sometimes a retired teacher will donate a lot of their textbooks and fiction library - it's almost impossible not to take home a few of the great authors, even though there's no room left on my shelves...
