We always seem to miss that opposite season when it gets too hot and humid or too cold and covered in ice and snow... Me...I prefer spring or fall

Great picture of the hummingbird. I don't think you ever had to experience a Canadian

type winter while living in Australia, did you?

A lot of people are keeping winter in mind as the heat goes on. I have not heard too many heat-related complaints, probably because of that...I like watching birds.

I will stop complaining about the very hot weather here. It is so much better than a bitter winter. Be blessed.

I also am very, very glad that we are not into winter at the moment.
I am very thankful for a/c though.

Kabu Doosy does it mean a bad one. I think you held that little bird on a stick or one of your little critters did. Funny I was thinking how tough it must have been in Winter with your Dad and the snow with sheep.

Snow in Oz? What's the world coming to?

I keep forgetting about OZ and the southern half of the planet

with their opposite seasons. Makes packing for a visit from one to the other a whole new bag of tricks.  I'm glad Zelda found something to laugh about, and that I'm not the only old gnome who gets tickled at the small upsets of others.
