Well its news to me...

I've never heard of anyone getting cancer from smoking weed either.  I'm almost sure it would have made top news with all of the young people that are sparking up these days...

An article doesn't prove much to me...I want scientific proof and I haven't seen it yet.  But I will check out the link--to see whose saying what.  Hell nowadays--eating chicken can give u cancer --(I'm kidding)

But---the point I'm making is everyday there's something new---we're all going to die from something--if you smoke weed at least you'll be smiling when you go.

If you are comparing cigarettes with pot as the cause of cancer
they simply cannot be compared. The frequency of use in both being so dissimular. Whereby a heavy pot smoker may smoke a dozen or so joints a week, a heavy cigarette smoker will consume that number by lunchtime. There is no doubt pot has health risks in being consumed by smoking but again the infrequency of use limits that risk. I don't know about in the USA but the Canadian Cancer society has not one recorded case of pot alone causing lung cancer. To expand on Dreah's comment there may be many unrelated reasons why pot has yet to be attributed to a single case. Consume it by ingesting...it's safer.

I'm afraid so, deary.There are 50 to 100 times more cancer-causing chemical
in pot smoke than in tobacco smoke. One joint contains four times as many cancer-causing tars as one cigarette. Cases of cancer of the mouth, tongue, larynx, jaw, head, neck, and lungs have been reported in marijuana smokers in their 20's and 30's.

Never

Nope. Can't say I ever heard that.

Oh and I can prove Dreah wrong.  I used to smoke pot, but didn't smoke cigs.  Detested cigs, in fact.

Now I don't smoke anything--unless you count when I fry brain cells trying to think.

IT STANDS TO REASON
that if a person smokes pot, then they also smoke cigarettes.  In addition they don't advertise the fact that they smoke pot... except for Chris2303.  So it they where to come down with cancer, the cigarettes would be blamed.
