not long ago i read an article about how much energy it takes to recycle different things including plastic bags and i thought at the time i just have to get some cloth bags and take them with me to the store instead of the plastic ones that they say never go away. they just break down after a long period to tiny pieces. and the amt of energy to recycle hardly makes it worth while. so i am using all my plastic bags to pack my ebay items in. it packs really well and doesnt add much weight. and now i am using my cloth bags and asking friends and family to give me their plastic bags for packing.

Those plastic bags can be a pain in the neck, I know. But I'm big into recycling.

That's the real reason I have a doggie - never to have a surplus of plastic bags...

we do try to remember always to take our recycle bags with us. I don't care if my grocery store isn't walmart or whoever the bags came from. But we get plastic bags too and I could never sit and do that task with them. That's the sort of anal retentive project my Brotherin law, the little rat, does in Australia.

I hang a bag on a hook in the laundry room. I use it to collect all the other bags I no longer need. I take this bag to the store once it is full and put a new bag in its place. This way my son knows where to put them after he shops as well.

No that takes to much time, and I expect no one will use them, I still think stuffing is the easiest and as the will be recyled, no problem.
