Re:
Could well be, Annicita. Daughter is busy upstairs right now trying on the dress she's wearing as bridesmaid at a wedding at the weekend. I have a feeling I will be doing a few last-minute adjustments - just like her prom.

Bless you Bill, nice to 'h'ear from you....smile. I can't get there for two weeks so perhaps she will manage with just the one.

Re:
Hi CCT. No problems on the NHS front, she hasn't had to pay for it, but she does seem to have more difficulty with the right ear than the left. It has broken twice now (sigh). The real nuisance is that she is housebound and has us all running around in circles and we each have to travel some distance. Won't move house of course, especially now she's had her stairlift fitted. Mothers!!

Well Mneme, they must be a bit flimsy I have dropped mine stood on it and goodness knows what else, we stuck a bit of extra tube on and it is better than ever. She could get one on the NH. It is a bit of a pain, but my brother did, though he never or hardly ever wears it. I only have one for one ear, but if I get another I shall wait until they give two for one, so if it malfunctions the other one will be a standby.

Maybe you should get Mum and ear trumpet - they're virtually indestructible...
