I'll never forget back when our dog Chipper bit into a toad. He coughed and spit and snorted for an hour. After that she was scared to death of them and would stand a long ways off and bark loudly.

That's definietly a toad, and a bloak I'd say by the size of him! I actually enjoy toad song. Perhaps you ought to give him a name?
