Beautiful fish. I have had many friends that go out deep sea fishing and love it.

That Red Emperor is huge. I do not recall ever having seen a red fish of any kind in person, and I have been to Baltimore's National Aquarium, which I felt had just about every kind of fish.

I used to go fly fishing along Mill creek, but nothing as exciting as
catching these big ones. It's almost time for Copper River salmon from Alaska - the line caught ones that cost about $20 a pound - but oh, my does it melt in the mouth... What a great thing for a kid to go on one of these trips and come back with great memories.

Well caught, such a nice specimen. Pity about the fish. I wish they would shut their eyes when captured. A mystic message (Did you slap her back?)

Looks like great fun! The hats? Oh well, with a nice catch like that one can forgive the hats...
