I hope you would put the cake in a tin. A woman told me that she took her husbands ashes to a country resort , she sprinkled them under a tree and when she went back 6 months later they were still there.

This reads like a dream remembered after waking.
I dreamed last night of visiting Stonyhurst College and being given a box of JRR Tolkien's ashes to distribute somewhere. I took the box to a coastal resort and petted dolphins... thought of making a cake with little dinosaur bone candies and such embedded in it for kids to excavate at a birthday party.
