So sorry to hear of back trouble. Especially since this is the time of year your "heart" as well as your body wants to be out doors. Wishing you a quick recovery. Your garden needs you

Yes of course Kabu you are breeding a super race of chippies. The blackbirds here were  covered in brown feathers for a long while, well I feed them on cat pellets softened for the chicks . One Arthur calls Gregory after the film star. Get it.

Chippy is a cutie.  I'm so glad you are a tiny bit better.

I would say that 'well-fed' is playing a part.

Kabu

I just think Chipmunks are the cutest things in the world!  They are up at the camp in NM and the scamper around so fast it's hard to get a good look at them.  We are so heavily treed there the critters and birds are rampant!!  I love it!

The chipmunks are preparing to overthrow the squirrels.

Early last evening I saw a meadowlark, singing, chirping away on a telephone line a couple houses from where I live in the city love.

Glad you're having such a sweet day!

Here, snow in the morning, and occasional hail in the afternoon...

Kabu

You may be creating a whole new species - the Giant Chipmunks of North Camelot! And people will be afraid to leave their house after dark...
