I don't blame me for staying away from snakes. For some reason I have a great fear from them no matter how small they were. Also to answer your questions regarding my proverbs. I am planning to publish but believe it or not I haven't looked into a Publisher yet. Till now I have written a total of approximately 1300 proverbs in English, and approximately 700 in Arabic that has been already translated to English and French. Have a couple of endorsements from a Professor of English Literature at Cal Poly Pomona, and a very influential government figure in California. With how busy I am at work sometimes I wish a publisher will call me to publish. Sometimes it is nice to dream.

The only snake that I have seen is a slow worm, they are harmless. I think I would have captured that snake and taken it a few miles away.Or chopped its head off. I think I prefer rats.

I think it's part of spring -- all kinds of ideas and creative impulses
come to the surface. I've been known to build an "air castle" or two myself...

That snake is big enough I would think to eat a hen so best get the local wild life people who ever they are to remove it...and any others around. Once a snake get the taste for birds they would rather not eat anything else...or so I was warned with Boo snake. We only get thin little Garter snakes here and they are nonvenomous and very cute.
You have me interested in just what Son # 3 is going to build.

That salad sounds sooooo good, hold the hot stuff! The creative gene sure traveled strong in your family. I'm glad I'm not really squeamish about snakes as they are all around here....funny you have this as I just came in from walking around snapping shots outside and looked down at my bare toes and chided myself because I was walking in weeds and leaves and I'm sure there are many babies with mamas not far away that I was brushing around - not smart! All the roads are filled with the yearly photo-bugs out snapping the wildflowers - and copperheads in particular love to cruise the same grounds, too close to unsuspecting sweet little tot bottoms waiting for Dad to snap the perfect shot.

Oh Taps I am like you, don't want anywhere near snakes of any kind. We have them in the South. But they are in the corn fields etc or barns. I hate snakes, if God can see fit to curse them so can I.

Re: Naut
On the Missouri side, it is big blacksnakes in the barns of the farms. I stayed out of those barns when we visited the farm.

Live and learn! I had never even heard of bullsnakes - I'm sure we haven't got any here, but of course I could be mistaken. And although I know very little about snakes, I've always liked the slithery things - aside from the venomous once, of course...And tomorrow I shall drop in at our local Thai restaurant, LOL...
