Well it did not turn out too badly Justi, Most folk are locked into belief at childhood and tend never to think beyond that point. Nice if they a taught to respect mankind .

I was brought up on the bible too, but not in church. My foster grandma taught us love and respect of oneself and others, humans and animals, all in the name of Jesus, but she didn't care for the gatherings where the people whispered about each other behind their hands. Like you and George, Justi, she was the first one at the door to help if a neighbor needed her. Sitting outside under the apple tree, she would read to us from the good book - only mentioning the wicked and their ends in passing...mostly stories about good samaritans and feeding needy crowds with one basket of fish.
