Yes, those are the pros and cons of modern medicine and hospitals, but as long as Sir Wiley got what he needed, and is doing better. It would be nice if the hospital staff could see the patients as people instead of case numbers, and I suppose that is the case in some incidences, but it could be better. Hope he's up and around soon . . .

Awww.  I hate when he doesn't feel well.  I hope he feels better soon and I hope the news is good for both of you.  I'm sure it will be.  Love you both forever.

I hope he's feeling 100% better this a.m.

I think anxiety about the possibility of cancer, fear of the surgery itself, when we've steeled ourselves to deal with it  - has a boomerang effect after the crisis is over. It's kind of like holding your breath beforehand and then gasping for air - emotionally - afterward. Your sweetheart will get his mojo back very soon. Hugs to you both. {{{}}}

I wish a speedy recovery for Wiley .

It takes a bit more out of one than it used to. Some procedures as you say have improved, but a nice cup of coffee and a quiet talk with a doctor would have paid divis.

I hope he is not upsetting himself also by remembering things of the past. Keep warm.

Kabu

All the best to our Wiley. I had one of those a few years ago - too much sailing without my hat on, but it was taken care off pretty well the same way, and has never recurred...

Poor Wiley, but then again, he has you, so that makes him rich indeed.

I know he'll be okay, and you too, but I so wished that we lived closer....

I hope that Wiley feels better...I do feel that the TLC aspect is missing from hospitals as well.

 That's a pretty good mark. Your presence will come in handy, being a former nurse.

 Best of wishes.
