Someone on radio remarked that people dressed up more in the
'50s and '60s - and I do remember more 'formal' occasions. These photos show he had it right - the only ones you see dressed up like this in this day and age are the royals. You all look fabulous.

Oh, I love these! I love candid photos best of all....so much life to them and don't they bring back the memories for you?! The hat, or bonnet as you call it, it beautiful - was it white as it appears in the photo - and you are so beautiful and young and happy and full of life, and you look like a Daddy's girl. Your mom is proud of you, too; it's easy to see that. We are so full of our futures at that age.
