I wish your dad the best. I like how you put at the end that time has a way of filling itself. So true and succinctly stated.

Wish you the best for your dad. It's nice that you're taking your dad to the surgery this time.

They don't keep folk long in the hospital these days, it seems it is better to have both hips done when one has the chance. Your Dad seems quite hardy, I am sure he will be OK. I expect Mum will be pleased to be able to take a breather and drive carefully although I am sure you do.

wishing Dad all the best for the hip replacement
Mum is probably very relieved to have less to do. I know I have never been bored with retirement.

It will be good that both your dad and mom know what to expect with his hip surgery this time....you, too! Keep us posted. Your mom should be slowing down....it's easing into retirement and what one should do. My vacations at your age were always automatic...back home to Texas to see my folks and make sure my daughter stayed connected with them.

Hope all goes well with your dad's surgery. I'm sure your mom is relieved. I bet she will really enjoy it when she only does the books for the house!

Best of luck to your father. I thought you were older than 29. You seem very
mature for your age. Wish I could say that, keep up the good work.
