Bird and Isiah squaring up...
Lord that takes me back!  Larry Bird was the best player on the best team and Thomas was the leader of the upstart Bad Boys from Motown.  The Celtics lineup included Parrish and McHale.  The Pistons had Joe Dumars and Bill Laimbeer.  Dennis Rodman wasn't yet the tattooed man or a freakish wild child.  Bad boy referred to on-court demeanor, not off-court scandal and brushes with the law.  Michael Jordan had not yet become God of the basketball world.  And it all seems like just yesterday.  Thanks for the time trip!

hey, if the Refs called anything.....
...the Celts would have taken that game.  Just kidding.  It was a werll played game though.  It kills me we drafted Billups and then let him go.  Ben Wallace is a terrific player.  You guys should see the eastern conference finals this year.  It's been a long time since Bird and Isiah squared off hasn't it?
