No Naut It was not real. Had that been me I think I would have dug him up and killed him again. But on the other hand it may have been better for her than his having a new woman nightly. Who knows I just woke in the middle of the night and thought of such a predicament. I doubt those daughters ever married.

How would one handle this....Double grief really. Like losing your husband twice. Well written and a story that has happened probably still does. people have International careers these days.

Justi

You told a story so well....and I'm not so sure this isn't something that has happened for real more than a few times, at least in common law terms and maybe staged with the help of friends - there used to be a lot of traveling men across this country of ours and a home is sure better than a hotel!

What a story! And you've told it so well, it almost sounds like you were 'the other one', LOL...

Sounds like it could be a true story Justi. I don't think he would be able to carry it off

so easily these days. At least he did not desert anyone, although it was not moral law.

Good writing, glad you feel up to it again.

Oh my - what a time he must have had to keep his two lives separate! Great story, Justi. I could feel the waves of feeling - pain, betrayal, bewildered, and yet love...while reading it.
