Simon Peter always seemed such a down-to-earth kind of guy. I'm sure that Jesus had a really good reason for picking him to be one of the 12.

I must agree with you that Peter has always seemed more real more human than some of the other disciples. yes a good chat would certainly be wonderful....perhaps I will meet him at those Pearly gates.
