Sounds yummy. I mean the wine too. For me I bought a quart of cracker barrel vegi soup as I dont feel well and only have appetite enough to have a cup of soup. I will be at the table in spirit though

Sounds good. And I'm going to assume that none of the ingredients of my stew are going to find their way into your stew! Cooking like that warms up your insides, as well as the house . . .

got your e-mail
tried to answer thru g-mail...didn't work...enjoyed your post on eating well, doing the same tomorrow, feeding friends and finally getting my appetite back..grilling fat boneless pork loins and sirloins, making my famous potato salad and pinto beans, then its darts, spades or domonoes, guarunteed guitar playing..let there be life!! My "I ain't dead yet Dammit" t shirt , that i have had for 6 years now, has about ran out of places for signatures, friends, relatives, and even the Dr. who gave me 6 months to live 6 years ago, have signed it. I think we got this cancer b/s--t wipped ! Thats macho lingo for "PLEASE, I'm tired of this crap!! But feeling better every day..I have another email...on yahoo..does it work better for ya'll ? Anyway, would love to chat, send picks of donkeys, llamas, cows, horses..snow..yeah snow..in west Tx.. and still need some type of editorial help and guidance..I can't decide by myself what to introduce to a publisher, I like it all..and there are so many different types of possible publication, I am totally confused on the best route to take.So if ya have any advice or suggestions, any one that you know that you can say to "Hey , check this guys stuff out"anyone who might be able to help me get on track, please do so...I just want people to read my stuff, if I make any money,I'll donate it too charity....well, some of it...I do got grandkids..lol

Oooh, fried mashed taters!
I'm going to have to try that, too! Maybe with a bit of mashed parsnips added in... And that stew warms me just hearing about it!

It sounds wonderful. I've been enjoying a new batch of Wiley's
famous vegetable fat burning soup for the past couple of days. I found out it's even better if I add a can of beans - the white kidney beans they call cannellini... They're so mild and in a dark tomatoey broth they add a bright contrast. But even that doesn't hold a candle to that winter beef & mashed potatoes. YUM!
