kabu
this rock has a very american indian feel about it, from the shape to the painting. does the placement of the colors and dots have a specific meaning? or is it just the spirit of kabu speaking, that is probably why the rock is so lovely.

You are so creative in so many areas. That is beautiful. I love all of your avenues of that creativity.

I would have thought, as cold and inhospitable as it is outside, that you would get even more 'indoor activities' done, like your rock painting. Once it gets warm and you can freely go outdoors without freezing your petunias off, your rock painting may suffer. Maybe . . .

The shape of that rock makes me think of the speckled bird lying upside down all ready to spring forth and fly when the weather is warm enough.

Lovely Stone, my friend intends on introducing me to a gentleman in Blue Ridge who excavates natural stones and then make jewelry. I would love to go stone hunting.

Perhaps Tom will find a cave full of these ancient rocks, don't forget the buried treasure. You could give him a pet and of course someone to pet. Soon be spring chicken.

Very pretty, but remember the bad luck. Or is that if you paint a face on it?
