I find it is really good to use Google. Y' can  say add a tune on a Jute box specific for the time and date...little things that make the write authentic without spending hoursa in a research library.

Fact checking is the greatest worry for me in writing and probably why I don't do a lot of fiction writing Sis.

If you are happy that is the main thing Pat. It does sound more old time. Trouble with time slots one has not been there to sniff the aroma, the advantage is not many have either.

 (not so random). Anything I pull off the site, I'm not so happy with. I wanted to start
