That is quite the amazing story. Glad everyone was o.k. I too grew up in a farming

atmosphere. We had 100 acres, horses, chickens, an accasional goat or two. In

reality it was kinda a hobby farm. Even when my friends were'nt around I managed

  to keep myself amused.

I'd forgotten all about the nice Jersey cow and her milk on my grandfather's farm....she was always the one the cat sat by for Papa to hit with a nice squirt when his pail was full!  Great story and I can just see a little boy doing that!  Funny, I often think of bulls and their nose rings when I see some of these kids and theirs'.......

It just goes to show how animals can sense the innocence

Well I can only imagine that the Bull thought the baby was no threat to his bull-hood,

Remarkable story though, terrifying in a way.  I must confess I don't like them. Only in bovril.

That was a whole lot of excitement there. You did a great job telling the story for us..I myself have thankfully never had to deal with a bull.

Now that's what people might refer to as a 'close call!' That farm sounds like a place my wife would love to frequent. And no wonder that bull was usually upset! You'd be upset too if someone shoved a huge ring in your nose and lead you around by it . . .
