HELLO TWIN. I am back as I promised. How you can stand to go out in that cold is beyond me. It gets cold here but nothing like you get. So keep warm.

Ha Ohio looks like Canada right now. I can totally relate to the comfort food, especially when there is cheese involved.

I can't keep up with my birdies. Yesterday I baked cornbread with the coarse ground cornmeal just for the birds because I didn't want to have to go out to get more seeds and birdie things. When I bake cornbread for the birdies, I put things in it like any bacon drippings or suet, hot pepper flakes, any seeds I have on hand (caraway, sunflower, dill seeds, etc.), raisins. You should see them flock to it.

I loved the story, but I could not endure the cold anymore. I was in Canada for a weekend once about fifty years ago and everything was closed on Sunday even the gas stations. It was very unusual to me.

It never ceases to amaze me just how 24/7 things have become. Few businesses are closed on Sundays and holidays nowadays.

Beautiful picture! But I've had it with the cold! Much more of this, and I'm going to where it's warm for a bit...

I had a cat once - lovely female tri-color, looks like the cat in the old
Purina commercials, white chest and stockings, gray geo-designs on her back. Miss Kitty. I still think of her ways and character even though she's been gone 20 years.

Gee they're so much fun, aren't they? All of our cats have their own little personalities, and there are things you can do to or with one cat that you could never do to or with another. But when it comes time to 'settle down,' they're all snuggly kitties . . .
