Ha! I also forgot about yesterday being a "bank holiday". I was about to call about an email I've been waiting for when I remembered That it was coming from a bank. I should have known, too, because my husband was home with me yesterday, he gets all those "bank holidays" off.

I suppose if one is on strike one has to take a day off sometimes. Can't keep striking every day, it would be like hard work. Don't tell them though.
